Question 1

Why is a 2020 Subaru Ascent with a rebuilt title priced lower than a clean-title one?

Accepted Answer

A rebuilt title Ascent costs less because it was once declared a total loss by an insurer, then professionally repaired and passed a state DMV safety inspection. The discount reflects the branded title on the paperwork — on ReVroom, that means a 3-row family SUV often listed up to 50% below comparable clean-title market value.

Question 2

Is a black 2020 Subaru Ascent with a rebuilt title safe for daily family driving?

Accepted Answer

Every Ascent on ReVroom passed a state DMV safety inspection after professional repairs, and listings disclose repair information and photos where available. Review those details, order the $15 VIN history report, and — as with any used SUV, rebuilt or clean title — consider an inspection by an independent mechanic before you buy.

Question 3

How much should I expect to pay for a 2020 black Subaru Ascent?

Accepted Answer

Pricing varies with trim, mileage, and the scope of prior repairs, but rebuilt title Ascents on ReVroom typically list for up to 50% less than clean-title market value. Use the price filter on this page to see exactly what black 2020 Ascents are available right now.

Question 4

What trim levels does the 2020 Subaru Ascent come in?

Accepted Answer

Subaru offered the 2020 Ascent in Base, Premium, Limited, and Touring trims, all with a 2.4L turbocharged boxer engine, CVT, standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and three rows of seating for seven or eight passengers. ReVroom's rebuilt title listings span these trims, so you can compare features and pricing side by side.

Question 5

Can I finance or insure a rebuilt title 2020 Ascent?

Accepted Answer

Many lenders and insurers do work with rebuilt title vehicles, but terms vary by company. Before buying on ReVroom, confirm financing with your lender and request an insurance quote for the specific VIN so you know the full cost of ownership up front.
