Question 1

What does a rebuilt title Tesla Performance model mean?

Accepted Answer

A rebuilt title means the Tesla was previously declared a total loss by an insurance company, then professionally repaired and inspected by a state DMV to be legally driven again. On ReVroom, every rebuilt title Tesla Performance listing has passed this safety inspection and includes disclosed repair information where available.

Question 2

How much cheaper is a rebuilt title Tesla Performance Model 3 compared to a clean title one?

Accepted Answer

Rebuilt title Tesla Performance Model 3 and Model S vehicles on ReVroom are priced up to 50% below what you would pay for a comparable clean-title example. The exact discount depends on year, mileage, and prior damage history, but the savings on a high-performance dual-motor or tri-motor Tesla can be substantial.

Question 3

Does a rebuilt title affect the performance or range of a Tesla Model 3 or Model S?

Accepted Answer

The performance and electric range depend on the quality of the repair and battery health. A properly rebuilt Tesla Performance model will accelerate and handle as designed. We recommend reviewing the disclosed repair photos and pulling the $15 VIN history report on ReVroom, then having a pre-purchase inspection done to confirm battery capacity and drivetrain condition.

Question 4

Can I get financing or insurance for a rebuilt title Tesla Performance car?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many lenders and insurers cover rebuilt title vehicles, though terms may differ from clean-title policies. Shoppers on ReVroom often find that the lower purchase price on a Tesla Performance Model 3 or Model S helps offset any difference in insurance premiums. Always check with your provider before buying.

Question 5

What should I look for when buying a rebuilt title Tesla Performance Model S?

Accepted Answer

Focus on the quality of the repair, especially around the battery pack, suspension, and aluminum body panels. On ReVroom, each rebuilt title Tesla Performance Model S listing includes disclosed repair information and photos where available. Pair that with the $15 VIN history report and a professional inspection to verify the high-voltage system and air suspension are functioning correctly.
