Question 1

Are rebuilt title Tesla Model Y Performance EVs worth buying?

Accepted Answer

For many shoppers, yes. The Performance trim carries a large premium when new, so a rebuilt title example on ReVroom is one of the few ways to get dual-motor Performance speed for far less. Every listing was professionally repaired and passed a state DMV safety inspection, and repair information and photos are disclosed where available so you can judge quality before you commit.

Question 2

How much cheaper is a rebuilt title Model Y Performance than a clean-title one?

Accepted Answer

ReVroom listings are typically priced up to 50% below comparable clean-title market value, with the exact discount depending on the prior damage, repair quality, mileage, and year. Because the Model Y Performance holds strong resale value, the absolute savings on a rebuilt title example can be substantial versus buying clean.

Question 3

Can I get a history report for a Model Y Performance listing on ReVroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ReVroom sells a $15 VIN history report you can pull for any Model Y Performance you're considering. Pair it with the disclosed repair details and photos on the listing page to understand what the vehicle went through before it was repaired and passed inspection.

Question 4

Does a rebuilt title affect insurance or financing for a Tesla Model Y Performance?

Accepted Answer

It can. Some insurers and lenders do work with branded title vehicles, but coverage terms and approval requirements vary, and manufacturer warranty coverage is often limited on rebuilt titles. Before buying on ReVroom, confirm your options with an insurer and lender so the full cost of ownership is clear.

Question 5

What should I check before buying a used Model Y Performance with a rebuilt title?

Accepted Answer

Start with the disclosed repair information and photos on each ReVroom listing, confirm the vehicle passed its state DMV safety inspection, and pull the $15 VIN history report. Battery and drivetrain condition matter most on an electric Performance model, so reviewing the repair details carefully — and arranging an independent inspection if you want extra peace of mind — is a smart final step.
